)-- Thomas Construction is a sponsor at the 2010 Florissant Valley of Flowers Festival. The festival is from May 6 to May 9 and activities will be held at the James J. Eagan Center, Duchesne Knights of Columbus Grounds, Old Town Florissant, Koch Park, and Saint Ferdinand Shrine.
Thomas Construction encourages visitors to take some time to stop by their booth on Saturday by the James J. Eagan Center. The Valley of the Flowers Festival has been celebrated every year since 1963 making this its 48th “First Festival of Spring.” The parade theme for this year is “Florissant Salutes Landmarks of the World.” The three day event features activities for everyone from a flower and plant sale to culturally diverse musical performances, baseball games, craft and flea market sales, children’s activities and the “Hispanic Festival” at the Eagan Center.
