Brigham and Women’s Hospital Launches Stork Fund
Supporting healthy moms, healthy pregnancies and healthy babies - Building on 175 years of expertise in the care for mothers and infants, Brigham and Women's Hospital announces the launch of the Stork Fund, a new ePhilanthropy venture dedicated to supporting healthy moms, pregnancies and babies.
Boston, MA, May 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Building on 175 years of expertise in the care for mothers and infants, Brigham and Women's Hospita l (BWH) announces the launch of The Stork Fund, a new ePhilanthropy venture dedicated to supporting healthy moms, pregnancies and babies. The Stork Fund will raise funds for clinical care, research and education and be directed to programs connected to gynecology, fertility, pre- and post- natal care, delivery, birth equity and neonatal intensive care.

The Stork Fund will officially kick off with a "My Baby and Me" event on Saturday May 1 at the Prudential Center in Boston, MA. The event is open to all moms, dads and children under 5 years-old and features Isis Parenting yoga classes for moms and kids and lunch and snacks provided by Au Bon Pain.
The Stork Fund is BWH's first official venture into ePhilanthropy and will also include an e-store where 100% of the proceeds from Stork Fund products such as bibs, blankets and onesies will benefit the fund.
