Destination:PEACE Launches “Pick Your Own Dates” Program

Destination:PEACE is launching a new program to incentivize travelers to join in a luxury volunteer vacation anytime, literally - "you pick your own dates."

Punta de Mita, Mexico, May 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Introducing “Pick Your Own Dates!” Destination:PEACE is launching a new program to incentivize travelers to visit Mexico and volunteer some of their time when schedules allow. “Listening to the requests of travelers, we know people have busy and hectic lives. Being able to open the window and allow vacationers to choose their own five days opens up a new opportunity. Our new initiative allows for people to cope with their busy lives and get a vacation in, all while giving back to the community,” says Molly Fisher, Co-Founder of Destination:PEACE. Destination:PEACE will also be launching the 2011 calendar, coming soon.

During a Destination:PEACE Volunteer Vacation, guests will experience another culture while making a difference in the lives of others: children, women, families, animals and the environment. A volunteer will help raise awareness and make a positive contribution to the local community, environment and animals. Destination:PEACE partners with local organizations in the community and gives back a portion of the proceeds to the organization involved.

“More now than ever people are thinking about those less fortunate and giving money isn’t always personal enough. Through Destination:PEACE guests enjoy a hands on experience that proves to be life changing for both themselves and those they touch through the various activities,” says Katherine Fisher, Founder of Destination:PEACE.

Destination:PEACE is continuing to create partnerships throughout Mexico. As part of the “Pick Your Own Dates,” program, guests choose where in Mexico they would like to vacation. Mexico has so much to offer and their bucket list includes these towns: San Miguel de Allende, Punta de Mita, San Pancho and Puebla. It’s not all work either. Each five-day vacation combines volunteerism with the relaxing practice of yoga, spoils you with authentic Mexican cuisine and enables you to explore the region.
