Blinkers on Racing Stable Leads All Buyers on Day Two at the OBS Spring Sale

San Ramon, CA, May 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Thoroughbred racehorse partnerships will be forming soon at Blinkers On after the company purchased two fillies and one colt for a total of $358,000 at the OBS Spring 2-Year Old in Training Sale.

Blinkers On first purchase was a Congrat’s filly that breezed a quarter in 20 4/5. The filly, now named Turbulent Descent is a big, tall, leggy filly with plenty of scope. Blinkers On founder Scott Sherwood says Turbulent Descent will run on the Southern California circuit and will be trained by Mike Puype.

Blinkers On also took home High Test, a colt by leading second-crop sire, Wildcat Heir out of the dam Twisted Truth. High Test is a big, stout colt with a huge stride that worked in 20 4/5. High Test will also be running at Hollywood Park, Santa Anita Park and Del Mar on the Southern California Circuit.

The third horse purchased for the racehorse partnership is also by Wildcat Heir named Judicious. She is a filly out of the Phone Trick mare, Rush St. Type. On the racetrack, Rush St. Type won over $100,000. As a broodmare she has three foals of racing age and all are winners. Judicious will be trained by Terry Knight and will race in Northern California.

All of the new offerings will be available on the Blinkers On website in mid May. Sherwood says once the website has been updated shares in the racehorse partnership will be made available.
