Local Avon Representative is Fund Raising to Walk for Cancer Research in Memory of Friend Who Lost Her Battle with Breast Cancer

Folsom, CA, May 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Local Avon representative, Dortha Hise of Folsom, is committed to raising $1,800 to walk for cancer research. The 39 mile walk takes place in San Francisco, California July 10th and 11th.

Dortha’s friend Laney passed away in January after losing her battle against breast cancer—Dortha has committed to walk in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Laney’s honor. To honor her memory and raise funds for cancer research, Dortha has committed to walk in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

There is no donation too small, every bit counts, and of course, all donations are tax deductible. Dortha is an Executive Unit Leader with Avon Products and has been an Independent Sales Representative since 2002.
