)-- At 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 13th Boston area flight school, Norwood Flight Academy, home of the IMCClubs.org was awarded the FAA's 141 designation. The 141 Air Agency Certificate was presented by FAA inspector, Bob Berlin. The Training Specifications document was signed by NOFA's President, Michael Thomas. Under Federal Aviation Regulations Chapter 14 Part 141 a flight school can complete their certificates in fewer hours in exchange for adhering to certain agreements with the FAA. Some of those agreements include a structured and approved syllabus, approved training aircraft and part 141 approved personnel.
Chief Flight Instructor Radek Wyrzykowski commented, "141 approval clearly represents that Norwood Flight Academy is committed to providing the highest quality training to our students."
NOFA's President Michael Thomas, agreed when interviewed saying, "This is an important step in achieving our goal of becoming the leading flight school in the North East."
