)-- Rightmove will continue to exclusively operate its subscription model in a list of 19 core countries, including mainstream destinations such as Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, Turkey and the USA. However, outside of these countries, advertisers will now be offered the chance to use the Lead Galaxy platform to add property listings to Rightmove.
Lead Galaxy is a marketing platform that allows advertisers to distribute property listings to dozens of leading overseas property websites including top brands such as TheMoveChannel.com and APlaceintheSun.com. It makes lead generation easier and more cost-effective for advertisers by removing the need to maintain multiple subscription agreements and add property individually to many different overseas property portals. A single account gives advertisers access to all the portals on the network, with a minimum cost of just 50 pounds Sterling to trial the service.
Rob Wilson, Head of Overseas at Rightmove said of the deal: “For agents and developers working outside the prime countries for Brits buying abroad, it can be much more of a gamble trying to secure a buyer. They need to widen their net as much as possible, so it makes sense to advertise in front of the biggest audience on a well optimised portal like Rightmove. The big problem is, in the current climate, the number of lifestyle or long term investment buyers who would seriously consider purchasing outside the prime destinations is comparatively small.
“Advertising direct with Rightmove works brilliantly in the prime destinations where we have a consistently strong audience, but we wanted an option that allows advertisers to match their budgets to the performance of their properties in countries where volumes of serious buyers are not guaranteed.
“Rather than re-invent the wheel, we’ve chosen to develop a package through Lead Galaxy because they have invested a huge amount of time and expertise creating a really well integrated pay-per-lead platform that’s head and shoulders above anything else in the marketplace.
