Raleigh, NC, May 20, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- Eb Moore, CEO of Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston (www.hpw.com), has announced the start of a Triangle-wide campaign, the Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston “Cash for Closing” program, which runs from May 1 through July 31. Participating home sellers are contributing a minimum of $1,000 that can be used towards a buyer’s permitted closing costs or an interest rate buy down. Buyers who use Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston’s preferred lender, Towne Mortgage of the Carolinas, for lending purposes will receive an additional $1,000 towards closing costs. The purpose of the program is to re-energize qualified home buyers who missed out on the homebuyers tax credit that ended in April, incentivize a new, broader home buyer audience who were not eligible for the tax credit, and help further separate homes from others and make them more attractive to potential buyers.
“Our hope is to set Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston’s homes for sale apart from others on the market in the Triangle by offering the ‘Cash for Closing’ program,” said Moore. “It’s an opportunity that applies to home buyers who did not qualify for the recently ended tax credit and those who were not ready to buy at the time.”
