Highland Homes Climbs Builder 100 List

Central Florida builder jumps ahead 11 places from 2008 to 2009

Lakeland, FL, May 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Highland Homes, one of Florida’s premier home builders continues to find success despite a down economy. The local company has managed to prosper over the past year and has moved up 11 spots on Builder Magazine’s Builder 100 list, jumping from 84 in 2008 to 73 in 2009.

An annual list, the Builder 100 ranks the top-100 builders in the country based on total closings. With 334 total closings, Highland Homes managed to move forward on a list where many builders dropped dramatically.

“We couldn’t be happier,” said Highland Homes Founder and President, Bob Adams. “The past year was tough for everyone in the real estate industry and we are proud to still be standing and serving the needs of central Florida home buyers.”

The Builder 100 list is comprised of both private and public builders. The list is compiled annually in May and is published by Builder Magazine. For more information about the Builder 100 please visit http://www.builderonline.com.
