Pinnacle Educational Center Opens Newest Location in Woodbridge; Area Parents’ Feedback is Very Favorable

New Haven, CT, May 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Colleges today are more selective in their acceptance of students than ever before.

When parents began discovering that Pinnacle Educational Center had just moved in the area, many were curious. Even more were excited when they discovered that BHA Education Consultants provided the college admissions advisory service with Pinnacle.

“The Woodbridge location is the fourth BHA Education Consultants office that we have opened. With over 14 years of experience in education and admissions advising, it’s the first Pinnacle Educational Center - a wholly owned subsidiary of BHA Education,” stated Kathy Adams, Education Project Manager for BHA Education.

“Our expertise is one of the highest in the area,” stated Dr. Paul Lowe, president and founder of BHA Education and co-owner of Pinnacle Educational Center. “We have an unmatched success rate in college acceptance for students to their top-choice schools. Our secret: we understand the needs of our clients and what colleges look for. We know how to advise and present our clients in their own voice and in a positive light to the colleges that they believe is a good fit for them. It’s a pretty tall order since parents, adolescents and colleges all have their own views and agendas.”

All of the advisors and consultants at BHA and Pinnacle are graduates of highly selective and Ivy League colleges. “My daughter, who is a Brown graduate, co-manages our Ivy League Student Network. All of my children matriculated to Ivy League schools. That should be a testament to what we can achieve,” stated Lowe.

“When parents are considering additional education/admissions and direction for their child, it’s very important to look at the success rate of the organization,” Lowe continued. “We pride ourselves on having a high success rate because of our personalized service and knowledge of the education industry. We work with many high profile families well as disadvantaged families. The amount of referrals we receive exemplifies their confidence in us and our success rate.”

“When students compete for limited spots, they are competing with peers in their high school, in surrounding communities, in other states and in other countries,” said Lowe. “In the eyes of their parents and high school or college counselor they are great students, but selective and Ivy League colleges are looking for great applicants who will be contributing members of their incoming classes. We have the cutting-edge knowledge and experience and know what colleges are looking for to help our clients.”

In preparation for their coming high school senior year, Pinnacle and BHA recently and jointly launched College Admissions Boot Camps 2010 (CABC), interactive, informative, activity-oriented and intensive four-day summer workshops, for current juniors to navigate specific elements of the competitive college admissions process.

CABC, located in Pinnacle’s facility is an ideal location. Conveniently located five minutes off the Merritt Parkway, near the foothills of West Rock Ridge, the location is easily accessible from anywhere in New Haven County and Fairfield County. It is within 2 hours of Manhattan and Westchester County. The facility is equipped with a suite of on-site study rooms that are conducive to personal and individual attention.

“Many competitors have to rent space to have workshops, resulting in tremendous overhead that contributes to their very high prices for classes, some in excess of $10,000 or more,” said Lowe. “We believe that the education of your child is worth spending money on, especially for gaining a competitive edge. In pricing our services, we took into consideration the present economy. Even high income families have been affected, so we made this affordable for everyone. Our four-day workshops, with follow up, costs $2,500.”

“Our reputation and parental satisfaction is stellar. College admissions officers and representatives know us because we regularly visit schools, analyze their curriculum, environment, and policies and to see if it is good fit for our clients,” added Lowe.

Dr. Lowe received a B.A. in Biology from Brown University, a M.D. from Boston University School of Medicine, a Certificate in Advanced Management Studies from Yale School of Management, and a Certificate from Harvard Summer Institute on College Admissions. He also attended Harvard Institute for Higher Education's Professional Development Programs.

The editor and publisher of Getting In!TM, a quarterly newsletter for parents and students interested in the competitive admissions process and trends, Dr. Lowe has represented students who have attended independent and public high schools, community and colleges, and homeschoolers in the tri-state area as well as students who have attended independent high schools abroad. He works closely with U.S. and international families engaged in the challenging, anxiety-ridden and stressful college admissions process.

Pinnacle Educational Center is located at 245 Amity Road, Suite 203, in Woodbridge, Connecticut. For further information about Pinnacle or to reserve a spot in the upcoming summer programs and College Admissions Boot Camps, contact Dr. Paul R. Lowe at 203-387-1574.
