1,50,000 Patients in the First 5 Months: Another Milestone by Wockhardt Foundation

Wockhardt Foundation completed 1,50,000 medical check ups through its 2 Mobile Medical Unit programmes in the first 5 months of 2010.

Mumbai, India, May 28, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Wockhardt Foundation, an international, secular, not – for – profit organization completed 1,50,000 medical check ups along with distribution of free medicines through its 2 Mobile Medical Unit programmes in the first 5 months of 2010. This is an increase of 50% of last year’s figure.

Wockhardt Foundation operates 2 Mobile Medical Unit Programmes. They are “Right To Vision And Mobile Health Reach.”

Under the “Right To Vision” programme, free mobile eye clinics take eye screening to the doorstep, thus playing a critical role in preventing blindness.

Under the “Mobile Health Reach” programme free medical check ups, consultations & medicines are given to poor patients.

At present, Wockhardt foundation operates its Mobile Medical Units in different locations across the country along with its 57 Vans along with its associates thus providing healthcare via the reach & approach method.
