National Pen Donates Over 5,000 Items to Non-Profit Organization

Through a private coordination through a local citizen, National Pen Company (www.pens.com) has recently donated over 5,000 pens to the AnySoldier.com organization.

San Diego, CA, May 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Through a private coordination through a local citizen, National Pen Company (www.pens.com) has recently donated over 5,000 pens to the AnySoldier.com organization. This organization, founded by Marty and Sue Horn, facilitates requests and donations to soldiers that are serving overseas. The program allows active duty military to send requests for themselves or the community they are currently serving. Requests range in price and item, but are often simple and necessary supplies.

National Pen donated these pens to help fulfill dozens of requests for writing instruments for both active duty servicemen as well as the needs of communities in Iraq, Afghanistan and other surrounding war zones. National Pen CEO Dave Thompson says, “We are honored to help our service men and women in this small way and to show appreciation for their efforts to protect our freedom. It is also our pleasure to assist those who are far less fortunate than ourselves in these countries.” For more information on the Any Soldier program and how you can help, visit www.anysoldier.com.
