Twidget Media Launches First Ever Facebook MLS Listings Application

Unique Facebook System Transforms Normal Social Profiles Into Powerful Real Estate Platforms.

Jacksonville, FL, May 29, 2010 --( Twidget Media, a web and mobile applications developer based in Jacksonville, FL has announced the launch of its Facebook MLS Listings Application, a program which integrates directly into the profiles of real estate agents on the world’s largest social networking site.

“We’ve been thoroughly watching the way service based businesses such as real estate are heavily adopting web 2.0 technologies to connect with prospects and clients,” said Sr. Marketing Analyst Grant Deken. “The B2C service oriented business model is driven by relationship based sales, making social platforms like Facebook the ideal place to connect with buyers and sellers. We wanted to take things a step further and give agents the ability to truly transform their Facebook accounts into dynamic real estate store fronts.”

The beta version of the application was released earlier this month with a full release coming in June. The application utilizes the MLS real estate listings system to integrate an agent’s available listings and will include detailed information including photos, floor plan details and the option to directly contact the agent. The company plans on integrating other advanced features in the full release which include the option for viewers to ‘like’ specific listings and share them with friends.

“All of our products aim to address disconnects in existing technologies and create new solutions to fill those gaps,” said Sr. Project Manager Aaron Joshua. “There are tons of business owners and proprietors out there trying to leverage low cost marketing methods to drive business. We’ve started by addressing the real estate market but are aggressively engineering new ways to fill gaps in other industries.”

The company indicated that they are considering preliminary deals with brokerage houses and MLS providers prior to openly offering the application in the Facebook application market.
