Beyond Expectations Launches New Online Learning Center

Beyond Expectations (BE) has launched a new online learning center and entered into a partnership with the New Jersey Financial Literacy Awareness Network (NJFLAN). Through this exciting collaboration, BE can help families teach their children how to manage money and make informed financial decisions.

Willingboro, NJ, December 01, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Beyond Expectations (BE) has announced its launch of a new Online Learning Center designed to help families teach their children how to manage money and make informed financial decisions.

"We are excited to be working in partnership with Beyond Expectations to help all residents of New Jersey make informed financial decisions," said Carol Schimenek, NJFLAN Director of Operations. NJFLAN is a statewide public/private partnership designed to promote financial literacy awareness and financial responsibility among NJ residents from kindergarten through adulthood.

The online web portal provides easy access to personal financial calculators, games, quizzes and book discounts from Barnes & Noble. Users can also gain access to licensed financial services professionals in the areas of income, money management, credit and spending, saving and investing, banking, and entrepreneurship. "This Learning Center is an ideal venue to encourage families to talk with their children about money matters in a way that can be fun and educational," said Leontyne Anglin, president, Beyond Expectations.

BE has also obtained a 5ft tall Learning Center kiosk to display print financial education materials, literature and brochures. The kiosk will reside at the offices of SisterHood, Inc. a community based organization which has provided a myriad of youth development programs for over a decade.

The BE Online Learning Center and Kiosk Display will both be unveiled at the Youth Achievers Committee 15th Annual Science Fair/Educational Forum on Saturday, December 9. Nearly 200 students in grades k-12 from across Burlington County will showcase their intellect, talent and gain recognition for their achievements. BE has participated in this worthy community event since 1999. They are extremely pleased that NJFLAN and Operation Hope of Philadelphia will join this year as first time participants.

"BE believes strongly in collaboration and works hard to leverage our collective abilities," said Leontyne Anglin. "This is a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate the power of organizations working together effectively towards an overall goal of strengthening our youth, our families and our communities."
