IPS-Trade.com Signed Multi-Million Contract for South Pars 6,7 & 8 Project

IPS-Trade.com is pleased to announce that it has signed a multi-million Euro contract for several Blanket Purchasing Agreements to deliver piping materials till December 2007 to the South Pars Gas Field Development - Phase 6,7 & 8 Onshore facilities Project.

Schiedam, Netherlands, August 11, 2005 --(PR.com)-- IPS-TRADE.COM is pleased to announce that it has signed a multi-million Euro contract for several Blanket Purchasing Agreements to deliver piping materials till December 2007 to the South Pars Gas Field Development - Phase 6,7 & 8 Onshore facilities Project.

Totally 7 BPA contracts have been signed for:

- Seamless pipes in Carbon Steel
- Seamless pipes in Stainless Steel
- Welded pipes in Carbon Steel
- Welded pipes in Stainless Steel
- Buttweld fittings in Carbon and Stainless Steel
- Forged Fittings in Carbon and Stainless Steel
- Flanges in Carbon and Stainless Steel

For the same project but outside the agreements, IPS-TRADE.COM has received more than 10 million Euro of orders value since January 2005, while further orders are expected.

The contract has been awarded by the joint-venture TIJD - on behalf of the joint venture Toyo Engineering Corp, Industrial Development and Renovation Organization, JCG Corp. and Daelim Industrial on behalf of Petropars Ltd, the main contractor of Pars Oil and Gas Co, a subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and the operator of the field.

The Phase 6, 7 and 8 project when completed will have with daily output of 2.8 billion SCF of Natural Gas, 122,000 bbl of Condensate and 3,300 tonnes of LPG. The natural gas output will be transported to the oil fields of Agha-Jari for well injection. The Offshore structure is made of 3 platforms 24,000 tonne, 3 submarine pipelines of 32', 105km long each, and three submarine pipelines of 4', 105km long as Piggy back for prohibitive chemical transportation, sitting on top of 32' line. 

Onshore section consists of Refinery and 56' pipeline to Agha-Jari field, 512km long. Refinery Plant area covering an area of 1,400,000m2 that includes Process Plant and Utility Facilities. Current progress on this phases for the month of April is reported as .7% for the Onshore Facilities, 0% for the Offshore Facilities, 11.8% for the Production Wells, 88.5% for the Conceptual and Basic design with total progress on the project as 3.8%
