Binder-USA Releases Series 870 7/8" Molded Cable Connectors

Camarillo, CA, December 01, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Binder-USA is proud to announce the addition of overmolded connectors to the 7/8” threaded connector line. The overmolded connectors are part of Binder’s 870 series and are fully intermateable with the 820 series.

The new overmolded connector series is available with 3, 4 or 5 gold-plated contacts with a current carrying capacity of up to 13A each. The overmolded design ensures sealing up to IP68 which has been tested to survive water submersion to a depth of 18-meters for up to 24 hours. The high degree of sealing is achieved through the use of a highly elastic, self-sealing contact carrier made of PUR. Connectors are overmolded to cable lengths of 2 to 5-meters. Custom lengths are available.
