Local Avon Representative is Hosting a Fashion Show Fund Raiser in Memory of Friend Who Lost Her Battle with Breast Cancer
Local Avon Representative Dortha Hise has put together a Fund Raiser Fashion Show to benefit her Avon Walk for Breast Cancer for which she has committed to raising $1,800 for cancer research.
Folsom, CA, June 07, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Dortha Hise of Folsom is committed to raising $1,800 to walk for cancer research. The 39 mile walk takes place in San Francisco, California July 10th and 11th.
Dortha’s friend Laney passed away in January after losing her battle against breast cancer—Dortha has committed to walk in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Laney’s honor. Dortha has put together a Fund Raiser Fashion Show to raise funds to meet her $1,800 fund raising goal.
The fashion show will feature styles by Jockey Person-to-Person by Independent Consultant Evelyn Margolin, jewelry by Cookie Lee with Independent Consultant Lawana Welch and Avon accessories by Independent Sales Rep Dortha Hise. There will be raffles every 15 minutes and a silent auction all to benefit the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer participants who are walking in July’s walk.
The fashion show is taking place at The Sterling Hotel Sacramento on Saturday, June 12th from 11 am to 2 pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $15 or $20 at the door.
