Baby Fingers' Classes Now Benefit Home Schooled Kids Too

New York, NY, June 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Lora Heller, founding director of Baby Fingers LLC, has expanded her mommy and me program to school age kids. Specifically, Baby Fingers will now be an integral part of the NYC home school curriculum options. Working with ROC, the Resource and Opportunity Center located in the East Village, Heller is now offering her creative sign language program to children in kindergarten through 5th grade who are home schooled.

Parent involvement remains significant in a student’s learning process, so family bonding continues well beyond the toddler/preschool years. Learning American Sign Language (ASL) provides students with an opportunity to express themselves through a creative, visual language while opening up the opportunity to interact with another culture right in one’s own community.
