New York, NY, June 10, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Innovative strategies for minority business to grow through social media and unique collaborations will be explored at the New York & New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council’s Business Opportunity Expo 2010 on Tuesday, June 15 at the New York Marriott Marquis, 1535 Broadway in New York City.

Keynote speaker Frans Johansson, author of bestseller The Medici Effect: Breakthrough Insights at the Intersection of Ideas, Concepts and Cultures, stresses that unique ideas and innovations are created through diverse collaborations of skills, expertise and cultures. Raised in Sweden by his African American-Cherokee mother and Swedish father, Johansson holds a Brown University bachelors and a Harvard MBA. Plenary speaker Wendy Chin, a high tech enterprise expert and former COO, Hospital Without Borders, has a Cornell University engineering degree and a Wharton MBA.

“This year’s Expo explores novel business tactics for the new economy.
