)-- It is a new year and PureTravel as usual has some great offers. It is with distinct pleasure that PureTravel announces the launch of their 2010 adventure writing competition. This writing competition is for all those intrepid travelers who have a story to tell, whether funny, frightening, exciting, etc, that they experienced on a recent trip.
PureTravel invites travelers to submit these stories in between 350 and 500 words by email, outlining the experience and what was so outstanding about it. These entries should be sent in with a valid email address, telephone number and of course a name by 15th October, 2010, which entries shall all be posted on the PureTravel Website. The personal information shall, however, not be posted on the site as it is entirely for internal use but PureTravel.
Once all the entries have been received, a panel shall select, from the total number of received entries, ten outstanding entries that shall be subjected, on the PureTravel website, to public voting to determine the three best entries. This shall be between 20th October 2010 and 17th November 2010 after which the three entries with the highest tally of votes shall be judged by a seasoned Travel professional and a winner subsequently announced on 24th November 2010.
All who register to vote shall be privy to a limited offer on the Geographical Magazine which shall include up to 76% savings off the cover price when ordered, free UK doorstep delivery, staggered payments spread out over one year through Direct Debit, amongst other discount advantages.
The ultimate prize awaiting the competition winner will be a 1,000 GBP or 1,500 USD prize that the winner shall use for a tour from one of PureTravel’s professional operators as well as 500GBP/ 750USD as travel allowance. The winning article shall be published in Geographical Magazine.
All runner-up entries that made it to the voting round, which shall be nine in number, shall each get a free year’s subscription to Geographical Magazine.
