New Website Gives Everyone the Chance to be a Creator

Melbourne, Australia, June 18, 2010 --(PR.com)-- As the volume of commercial and copyrighted internet content continues to grow, Mudboard is a new online platform that has been designed to celebrate originality, share untested ideas, and enable people to ‘hang up’ their creativity for the world to see.

The creators of the new Mudboard site are looking to build a creative online community where writers, film makers, musicians, artists, song writers and other creative souls can collaborate, discuss, experiment, entertain and maybe even become famous.

Co-founder of Mudboard, Nicholas Ross, says that there are a huge number of potential creators online wanting to connect with each other. “There are online creative forums and groups for people who want to engage with each other as part of their creative process, but until now there hasn’t been a dedicated online platform that allows people to show and share their original creative content.”

The net is full of mass marketed content, and sometimes individual talent and creativity can be over looked. Many creators are just looking for a place to put their work to show the world what they can do. Mudboard is providing that place.”

The Mudboard platform has been designed to be both a repository and distributor of creative work; a source as well as a channel for creativity. Ross and his co-founder Nalinda Karunaratna are committed to supporting original content in an environment of respect and endeavour.

Says Ross: “There is a trend of online entities starting out with good intentions, but ultimately becoming distributors for already commercialised creative content. What Mudboard does is give everybody a chance – either to publish and distribute their finished product, or to work up ideas and concepts.”
