Olathe, KS, December 09, 2006 --(PR.com
)-- In elementary school, teachers gave gold stars or stickers that said “Well Done!” to students who turned in exemplary work. The students receiving those precious stickers grinned ear-to-ear and promised themselves they would work even harder on the next project.
At PlattForm, it’s the employees who are grinning ear-to-ear, walking around the halls showing off the latest sticker they earned for their work – a circular black and gold MarCom Creative Awards sticker.
The agency won four MarCom Awards in the 2006 competition in the following categories:
• Direct Marketing Platinum Award for “U.S. Military Academy”
• Photography/Advertising Gold Award for “Sweet”
• Marketing/Promotion/Specialty Item Gold Award for “Who We Are”
• Communication Proposal Gold Award for “Arizona Culinary Institute Public Relations Proposal”
The 2006 MarCom Awards competition, which recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals, featured more than 5,000 entrants from around the world. Judges from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals look for entries that serve as benchmarks for the rest of their industry. About 15 percent of entrants received the award’s top honor, the Platinum Award, for submitting entries judged to be the most outstanding in the competition. Sixteen percent of entrants received Gold Awards recognizing work that exceeds their industry’s norm.
