Kickstarter.com's Latest Interesting Project - Auntie's Fry Bread Tacos

Fry bread is a popular food in Native American communities that is often served with both sweet and savory toppings such as either honey and sugar, or taco style.

Los Angeles, CA, July 04, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Los Angeles’ first Native American Eatery is set to open in local Farmers Markets later this summer. Through the use of Kickstarter, the owners, Eric Evans and Kate Koyama, plan to spread the word about their business and raise a small amount of money to get started. Part of the mission of the business is to share cultural awareness through food and part of the proceeds from Auntie’s Fry Bread Tacos are going to college scholarships for Native American Students.

Kickstarter.com is a website offering a new community oriented way for businesses to raise funds from “backers” who would like to see projects come to fruition. With a rewards based system, many creative ideas have come to life. Auntie’s Fry Bread Tacos is the latest project to come about.
