Iatria Medspa Announces Medical Aesthetic Services

Local Spa’s New Division Offers Medical Procedures in a Spa-Like Environment

Raleigh, NC, December 12, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Erika Mangrum, president of Iatria Medspa, a new division of Iatria Spa and Health Center, has announced that the firm has added medical aesthetic services, including mesotherapy and electrolysis, as well as three types of chemical peels – glycolic fruit acid, salicylic acid and lactic acid. Mesotherapy utilizes multiple microinjections of pharmaceutical and homeopathic medications, standardized natural plant extracts and vitamins into the mesoderm to treat body sculpting, cellulite reduction and skin rejuvenation, targeted fat reduction and overall weight loss. Electrolysis is a process to eliminate unwanted hair by applying a small amount of electrical current to the base of a follicle. When performed by a trained professional electrologist, the process provides minimal discomfort and hair never returns. Chemical peels are treatments to diminish the effects of time and enhance the skin’s overall appearance by loosening debris from the skin and leaving a clean, fresh look. The peels remove aging cells, dirt and debris attached to the skin surface, resulting in younger, healthier, more vibrant and smoother looking skin.

“With these new services, our clients can receive their choice of what they feel works best in rejuvenating their skin and removing unwanted hair,” said Mangrum. “Our staff will be happy to assist customers in making the right decision for their individual needs.”
