Xten Industries Receives MMAC 2010 Future 50 Award

Midwest contract manufacturing, plastic injection molding company is recognized for growth in revenue and employment.

Kenosha, WI, July 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Xten Industries, a growing leader in the plastic injection molding and contract manufacturing industries has been recognized and named a 2010 Future 50 by the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) list of Future 50 Companies. This award is for companies that, according to the MMAC, show a “strong growth in revenue and employment.” This is Xten’s second Future 50 award; the company was recognized in 2008 also.

“The Future 50 list is often a harbinger of what’s around the corner for the region’s economy,” said Tim Sheehy, MMAC president. “The fact that much of their business is conducted outside the region means they are attracting outside investment into the region, growing the economic base for everyone.”

The Future 50 companies list began in 1980 by the MMAC and its Council of Small Business Executives (COSBE). It was created to recognize the outstanding achievements of local, fast-growing entrepreneurs. Milwaukee’s Future 50 Program recognizes privately-owned companies in the seven county region that have been in business for at least three years and have shown significant revenue and employment growth.

Xten Industries, along with other winners, will be honored at the annual Future 50 luncheon on Sept. 16 at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.
