)-- Shot on location in New York, well-known stand-up comedian and actor Earthquake is bringing his brand of subversive, quick and hilarious comedy in the much anticipated HBO comedy series, 30-minunte special One Night Stand, which premieres August 26, 2005 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). Additional airdates are August 27th at 11:30 p.m. on HBO2; August 30th at 11:00 p.m. and 2:05 a.m. and August 31st at 9:30 p.m. All shows time are.
Most recently, Earthquake released his highly anticipated Platinum Comedy Series DVD entitled “It’s About Got Damm Time.” In addition, Earthquake will be receiving big-screen credits later this year when he makes a cameo appearance in the film Getting Played starring Vivica A. Fox and Bill Bellamy, and lends his voice to Nickelodeon’s animated film Barnyard due out next year. Earthquake has acquired a reputation and been dubbed “The Comedians Favorite Comedian” and a true master of irony. Stephen McPherson, ABC’s President of Entertainment called him a star “and he is the one to watch.”
Along the way, he has performed in comedy clubs all over the country and beyond, as well as appearing on Russell Simmons’s renowned Def Comedy Jam and BET’s Comicview. In front of the camera, Earthquake has appeared on almost every show that features stand-up comedy, spanning the range of Comedy Central, Mad TV, Real Time with Bill Maher, among countless others.
Despite his busy schedule, Earthquake continues to perform his stand-up comedy in sold-out comedy clubs and arenas across the country. When at home in Los Angeles he performs every Wednesday night at the valley’s hottest comedy club The Ha Ha Café in North Hollywood.
