Stan Sugden Named Vice President at Ruekert/Mielke

Waukesha, WI, July 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Stanley R. Sugden, P.E., Principal and Civil/Municipal Department Head with Ruekert/Mielke, Inc., of Waukesha, WI, has been named Vice President of the firm. Mr. Sugden joined Ruekert/Mielke in 1986, and became a Principal and Department Head in 1998. Mr. Sugden has worked on municipal projects throughout southeastern Wisconsin during his 24-year career with Ruekert/Mielke. This includes a wide variety of projects for the City of Oconomowoc, where he serves as City Engineer. Stan currently serves as the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Wisconsin Past President, and has served Wisconsin as President, National Director and as an active member of the Government Affairs Committee. He graduated from the ACEC’s Senior Executive Institute in 2006. Sugden was named the 1995 Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers (WSPE) Waukesha Chapter Young Engineer of the Year and in 1997 received the State Young Engineer Award. In 2003 he was named Engineer of the Year in Private Practice by the Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers, Waukesha Chapter. Sugden holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
