“This conference shall present the latest developments and lessons learned (feasible and practical solutions) for green hospitals. In the developed world, only green hospitals with a sustainable approach will survive. The patient wants to be treated in a healing environment, and this environment has to present the latest energy saving and healing environment features. The facility shall reflect the treatment. For the hospital, only a green and energy saving approach will reduce the running costs for energy and in the same time, influence the staff and patients,” said Henning Lensch, Chairman of the Hospital Planning Group for the German Consulting Engineers and Architects Association.

Sustainable Healthcare also referred to as “Green” Healthcare is a fast growing industry with Hospital Development generating billions of dollars invested over the next five years in Sustainable Healthcare, and Hospital and Healthcare Development projects globally.
