Renton’s Hocevar Performance Gym Hosting Charity Event to Raise School Supplies for Kids
Renton fitness expert and owner of Hocevar Performance, Luka Hocevar, is hosting a charity event to raise school supplies for children in the community.
Renton, WA, July 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Renton fitness expert and owner of Hocevar Performance Gym, Luka Hocevar, is proud to announce that they will be hosting a charity fitness boot camp to raise much-needed school supplies for children in the community. The event is scheduled to take place this Saturday, July 31st.
"We had such a huge success last month with our charity boot camps to raise clothes for the Renton Clothing Bank, that we are now raising school supplies for children in our community that need them for when they go back to school," Hocevar says. “We need to make sure our children have all of the tools they need to do well in school, and this is our way of helping out.”
Some of the supplies that are needed are notebook paper, #2 pencils, pink erasers, scissors, back packs, rulers, binders, folders and Crayola markers – just to name a few. To participate in the event, just bring one of the listed items or other school supplies. All donations will be given to the Renton Clothing Bank.
The charity boot camp will be held at 9 a.m. at Hocevar Performance Gym, located at 101 Burnett Avenue South in Renton. For those that are unable to attend the boot camp, donations will be accepted during the week at Hocevar Performance Gym. The workout is open to everyone in the community and is suitable for all fitness levels.
