Healing Heroes Network Says...Thousands Entered...Only One Person Won. And the Winner is...

Palm Harbor, FL, July 30, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Healing Heroes Network is heading to Dearborn, MI. During the Mustang Memories Show, there's one memory that's sure to last. After unveiling these two amazing cars at the 2009 SEMA car show, and enduring eight months of wondering who will win them...it's time to hand these automotive works of art over to a new owner.

Robert R. Totten saw an ad for the Mustang Dream Giveaway in a magazine in his dentist's office. He bought 100 tickets for $100 to help the troops, never expecting to win. Coincidentally, Mr. Totten is also a highly decorated disabled Vietnam veteran with 17 years of military service under his belt. A living example of the word Hero, Mr. Totten has earned 26 commendations, including the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and US Navy/Marine Distinguished Service Medal.

"Saying we're excited is such an understatement," said HHN co-founder Allan Spiegel, M.D., "We're extremely grateful to everyone who participated. We can't help heal injured veterans without support, and thanks to everyone who purchased tickets, we have a better chance of helping even more Heroes."

Once HHN found the remarkable '67 Shelby, the team at Ford quickly stepped up to the plate and created the theme for the one-of-a-kind 2010 Patriot edition. Combined, this dynamic duo is sure to take its place in automotive history.

About Healing Heroes Network - Since the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 and the subsequent war on terror, thousands of members of our armed forces have been injured in the line of duty defending our freedom and protecting the United States of America. Often these men and women are unable to receive the medical treatments that would facilitate their return to a productive civilian life. While the Department of Veterans Affairs provides treatment to these troops, the scope of covered services is limited and sometimes unavailable.

That's where the Healing Heroes Network steps in. HHN provides desperately needed therapies and services not currently provided or covered by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
