The brand-new howislifetoday.com collects news, blog, and twitter-posts depending on how they’ve influenced people’s mood today. The morale of the web community is measured and recorded by the visitors’ ratings on articles generating fine-grained statistics on the visitors’ frame of mind.
Budapest, Hungary, August 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Users are encouraged to post their own reasoning for their answer to the major question ”How is life today?” They can comment the uploaded news, blogs, etc., scores, and agree with them if they share the author’s or uploader’s opinion. The website provides a real-time index of the current state of mind, acting as the webcommunity’s global thermometer of a good or bad mood. ”An exciting feature of the site is the detailed graphs we create from the vast amount of statistical data gathered. This lets someone check what the web community’s morale was like a few hours, weeks, or even months before. Collecting enough statistical data even allows us to provide forecasts about the climate of the web a few days ahead. Although the forecast is still just an ironic attempt – who knows? Maybe, we’ll find good recommendations on what we can expect, or how we should feel ourselves, tomorrow,” said M. Kristof, the project manager.
