New Free Bible Study Guide on Depression Available

Depression is the topic of the latest lesson added to the new www.FreeBibleStudyGuides.org site. “Bible Answers for Dealing With Depression” brings the total to 48 lessons so far.

Cincinnati, OH, August 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Discouragement and depression afflict millions of people today. And the Bible shows that humanity has suffered from discouragement and depression since the beginning. The United Church of God’s new Bible Study Guide lesson on “Dealing With Depression” shows that many Bible heroes, such as David, Moses, Job and Elijah, dealt with it. The lesson asks: What can we learn from their examples and biblical principles?

Designed to provide support and practical help, “Dealing With Depression” (http://www.freebiblestudyguides.org/bible-answers/dealing-with-depression.htm) addresses issues such as:

What is a root cause of depression?
Where is the first place you should go when you are depressed?
How can a perfect God relate to the discouragement we experience as humans?

The lesson was researched and written by Tim Groves, a United Church of God member in Georgia.

Mike Bennett, UCG editorial content manager, said, “We want these lessons to be relevant, engaging and life-changing, and we welcome suggestions for future lessons or for improving the lessons.”

The site is frequently updated with new material, and so students are encouraged to sign up for the Bible Study Guides e-mail newsletter. E-mail subscribers will receive updates about all the new lessons, as well as other relevant Bible study material. It’s all totally free, and subscribers can cancel anytime they like.
