Valley, Realtors, of Roscoe Joins RE/MAX Northern Illinois Real Estate Network

Elgin, IL, August 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Real estate veteran Johanna Koslofski and her team of seasoned professionals at Valley, Realtors®, Inc. of Roscoe, Ill., have joined the RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network. The timing is right for such a move, Koslofski explained, as the real estate market navigates the sometimes rocky road to recovery.

"This is a time of change for real estate professionals because it continues to be a challenging time for the real estate market," said Koslofski. “It became apparent to me that we needed a greater presence in the market, and RE/MAX Northern Illinois fills that bill. RE/MAX is recognized everywhere for quality of service.”

Now known as RE/MAX Valley, Realtors, the firm operates from its office at 4761 Bluestem Road in Roscoe, a community just north of Rockford, Ill., in Winnebago County, which experienced rapid growth during the last 10 years. Koslofski and 14 agents make up the team, helping a broad base of clients achieve their real estate dreams for every kind of residential and commercial transaction in Winnebago and Boone counties.

“I have a great deal of respect for the RE/MAX brand,” said Koslofski. “Being a part of the brand will help take our office to the next level, attract new clients and, more importantly, give us additional tools to serve our clients.”

She's especially eager for RE/MAX Valley, Realtors, to access the educational opportunities that are available to all RE/MAX offices.

“I believe the professional education offered by RE/MAX is the best available in the real estate industry today,” she said. “What we’ll learn from the RE/MAX organization will enable us to do a better job for our clients -- to be better agents, simply put.”

Koslofski has seen the ups and downs of real estate since entering the business in 1974 and founding her own office in 1985, and she knows the value of keeping up with the latest developments in the business, especially in the current difficult climate.

Her firm’s association with RE/MAX will also directly benefit its clients, Koslofski added.

“It's a tough market because sellers are competing with bank-owned properties, and we need to give our sellers every advantage we can,” she explained. “The RE/MAX regional and international web sites, illinoisproperty.com and remax.com, will give our clients’ properties wider exposure to more potential buyers.”

A long-time resident of northern Winnebago County, Koslofski has an extensive record of civic involvement. She has served on the Winnebago County Zoning Board of Appeals and the Macktown Living History Board, which oversees the historic remnants of Winnebago County's earliest settlement, and she currently serves on the board of the Stateline YMCA.

RE/MAX is the leader in northern Illinois real estate sales. It has been number one in the metropolitan Chicago real estate market since 1989, closing more than $6 billion in sales last year. The RE/MAX Northern Illinois network consists of 2,500 associates and 120 individually owned and operated RE/MAX offices that provide a full range of brokerage services throughout the northern one-third of Illinois. Its www.illinoisproperty.com and www.remax.com websites are leaders in consumer visits among real estate brokerage brands. The northern Illinois network is part of RE/MAX LLC, a global real estate organization with nearly 100,000 sales associates in 80 nations.
