Local Florida Musician SloFunkPump Calls for Military Homecoming Video Submissions

Hollywood, FL, August 27, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Today, local musician SloFunkPump announced an open call for submissions of American Military Homecoming video clips. The clips will be featured in the music video for SloFunkPump’s annual holiday tribute, "Santa Please ’10 (Live in Nashville)."

Each year, a newly revamped version of Santa Please is released the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The upcoming video “Santa Please ‘10” is slated for release Sunday, November 28, 2010. Last year’s version, Santa Please ’09, can be viewed on SloFunkPump’s YouTube channel, youtube.com/slofunkproductions.

“The goal here is to bring awareness to the human side of war,” states SloFunkPump. “So many families go without seeing their loved ones at a special time of year because that loved one is dedicated to serving our country.”

“Santa Please ‘08” and “Santa Please ‘09” are available on iTunes and can be emailed to friends and family as holiday gifts.

50% of this year's proceeds from all versions of "Santa Please" will go to The American Red Cross and other family-minded military charities like "Operation: Love Reunited."

The Red Cross aids in relief from natural disasters and "Operation: Love Reunited" (oplove.org) offers portrait-services that commemorate the moments of service men and women as they leave and return home.
