Columbus Ohio's Basement Doctor Leads High School Football Themed Food Drive

Only a few hours until the first game, an amazing 1,200 cans of food had already been collected for the Mid Ohio Foodbank.

Columbus, OH, September 02, 2010 --(PR.com)-- This high school football season, The Basement Doctor Team is asking everyone who attends a central Ohio ABC6/FOX28 High School Football “Game of the Week” to bring a non perishable food donation to the Mid Ohio Food Bank. The Basement Doctor will have a Brand Ambassador at each game to collect food, get people involved with fun activities, and ultimately be responsible for getting the food to the Mid Ohio Food Bank.

Only a few hours until the first game, an amazing 1,200 cans of food had already been collected for the Mid Ohio Foodbank. “The Basement Doctor brand is all about being a caring and giving community partner,” said Ron Greenbaum, The Basement Doctor.

ABC6 sports will choose the two teams for the “Game of the Week” on the Monday prior to the Friday night game. The inaugural game was Hilliard Davidson vs. Grove City at Grove City.

Each school’s donations will be stored in separate boxes and then weighed at the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. The school that has donated the most pounds of food at the end of the 12 week season will receive a cool special reward.

The Basement Doctor organization performs basement waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, foundation wall repair and has local offices serving Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, Lima Ohio, Ft Wayne and Evansville IN.
