StormStaff Appoints Benjamin Baker as Division Manager

San Diego-based Administrative, Legal, Finance and Accounting staffing firm expands its local team with experienced industry professional.

San Diego, CA, September 15, 2010 --( StormStaff, a specialized staffing firm providing Administrative, Legal, Finance and Accounting professionals to organizations nationwide, has hired Benjamin Baker as Division Manager. With more than eight years in the Finance and Accounting and Staffing industry, he is responsible for establishing long-term relationships with candidates and clients, employee and account management and various aspects of recruiting in the San Diego area. Baker is based out of the StormStaff San Diego office.

Baker has been involved in various aspects of the Finance and Accounting industry. Most recently, Baker served as a Service Manager for a specialized staffing firm for accounting and finance professionals. In this role, he was responsible for developing client relations and identifying and recruiting accounting talent though networking, referrals and internet resources. Previously, Baker was an Account Manager for the Accounting and Finance division of a leading international professional services firm, a role in which he performed business development and candidate sourcing. Baker has also served as a Portfolio Manager with a global commercial and consumer finance company and a Loss Prevention Specialist with a local financial services company.

Baker received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Arizona State University. He is active with his alma mater through the Snow Devils, the Arizona State University snowboarding/skiing club. Baker has been recognized for his hard through various performance awards and has undergone specialized sales training.

Baker gives back to the community through a variety of charitable, civic and professional organizations. He has volunteered his time with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Baker is also a supporter of the Pat Tillman Foundation, a non-profit group honoring Pat Tillman, an Arizona State University alum and former Arizona Cardinals player who was killed in battle in Afghanistan. This organization provides resources and educational scholarship support to veterans, active service members and their dependents. Baker is a regular participant in the foundation’s annual event, Pat’s Run.
