DirectRooms.com highlights that motorsport fans can head to the Chinese region of Macau to catch all the latest action from the 2010 Macau International Kart Grand Prix.
Macau, China, September 16, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The event will see the best go kart drivers from around the world taking part in the competition, coming from as a far Great Britain, France, Italy and Spain. Macau also has a number of its own home grown talent competing in the event adding to the total of more than 170 competitors entered for the races.
The Grand Prix comprises the CIK-FIA Asia Pacific Championships and the Asian Karting Open Championship which are two of the most significant events in the racing calendar.
The CIK-FIA Asia Pacific Championships will feature approximately 40 drivers lining up on the racetrack, with the eventual winner taking to the podium to be crowned world go karting champion.
A number of supporting races will run in conjunction with the two main events which will be divided into different categories depending on the driver’s age and the engine size of the go karts.
Spectators heading to the race from hotels Macau can watch drivers navigating the 1.25 kilometer circuit designed with plenty of opportunities for overtaking to ensure for a weekend of non stop action.
Motor enthusiasts should head down to the Coloane Karting Circuit where the Grand Prix will run from 7th to 10th October 2010. Practice sessions and qualifying will be taking place from 8:00am on Thursday and Friday with the finals of the main races on Sunday. Admission is free for all visitors.
