To qualify, companies must be U.S. based and privately held and have had at least $100,000 in revenue in 2006, and $2 million in 2009.
Rankings are based on percentage of revenue growth from 2006 through 2009. Torrey Hills grew 295 percent during this period. The company was also ranked No. 17 among fastest-growing manufacturing companies and No. 24 among San Diego companies.
