Volunteer Group Black Twin Cities CARES Partners with Motivated Mothers to Help at Home and Abroad

Volunteer group, Black Twin Cities CARES, has joined forces with Motivated Mothers in an exciting new partnership to bring change in the Twin Cities and abroad.

Minneapolis, MN, September 24, 2010 --(PR.com)-- "I love to volunteer, and I've wanted to start a group for our community from the day I launched Black Twin Cities. I know that many people want to volunteer, but are afraid of the time commitment some activities involve, or they just don't know where to being to find volunteer opportunities", says La Juana Whitmore, owner of Black Twin Cities.

Black Twin Cities CARES, whose motto is "Join. Volunteer. Make a DIFFERENCE!" is the official volunteer group of Black Twin Cities. The group strives to bring change in the community and abroad by scheduling one-time activities which allow busy individuals to participate, as they can, and make big changes in others as well as themselves.

Black Twin Cities CARES has recently partnered with Motivated Mothers, a Twin Cities organization headed by Takinah Marbury, whose mission is to "embrace each teen and child affected by teen pregnancy, and provide them with counseling, special classes, and other critical services, in order for them to become self-sufficient as a mother."

"We're so excited about our new partnership with Motivated Mothers", says Whitmore, "It is an organization as focused as we are on bringing real change to our communities."
