The Champagne Company Offer Dom Pérignon's 2002 Andy Warhol Tribute Champagne Prior to Mid October Release

Although Dom Perignon's Andy Warhol tribute champagne release is due on the shelves is mid-October, The Champagne Company are taking pre-orders from the 1st October 2010.

London, United Kingdom, October 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Dom Perignon have lent their name to produce a tribute bottle of their 2002 Vintage Champagne in pop art Andy Warhol colours, designed by Central St. Martin's London Design team and available in 3 colours, red, blue and yellow.

Dom Perignon appears to be vibrating the already strong brand into a new more funky market, at the same time enriching the tables and cellars of champagne connoisseurs with something more retro and hip.

Extracts of Andy Warhol's diary of 1981 read...

"a club of twenty guys who got together and they're going to buy 2,000 bottles of Dom Pérignon which they will put in a sealed room until the year 2,000 and then open it up and drink it and so the running joke is who will be around and who won't..."

The golden juice inside the bottle is Dom Perignon's 2002 vintage, newly released in September 2010. This vintage has has been extremely well received with wine writers across the globe applauding the vintage. Robert Parker awarded it 96 points and Janice Robinson has given this a storming 20/20.

A winner product, a clever collaboration and available for pre-order at The Champagne Company from October 1st 2010.
