Supra-Light™ Designer and Supra-Light™ Diffuse LED overhead luminaires are free from electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI), making them well suited for use in MRI suites, surgical areas, recovery rooms and general medical lighting applications. MLS’ Supra-Lights combined with its recently launched Focal-Point™ and Serene-Vu™ MRI-safe Visual Therapy Illuminators provide a complete LED illumination solution for MRI suites.
Supra Light LED overhead luminaires feature an innovative LED-Array light source from ION™ Light Engines that utilize low voltage, Class II power. Remarkably thin and lightweight, these LED Illuminators are energy-efficient, ultraviolet (UV) and Infrared radiation (IR)-free, maintenance-free, and the LEDs do not interfere with magnetic resonance imaging. Available in a variety of sizes, Supra-Light ceiling fixtures may also be ordered sealed to eliminate cavities where airborne bacteria and virus can be trapped.
Supra-Light Designer Illuminators have a slender profile of ¾” and are available in ten decorative lenses which feature the distributed energy attributes of the LED array and provide a variety of architectural appearances. Supra-Light Diffuse Illuminators have a 2” profile for easy mounting in standard T-bar ceilings or for surface mounting, and they provide perfectly even and diffuse illumination. All Supra-Light overhead illuminators are available with optional dimming controls for even greater energy savings.
Supra-Lights are manufactured from environmentally-friendly, powder coated aluminum extrusions and are easy-to-install. These specialized LED illuminators help reduce building heat load and decrease air conditioning costs, while consuming 65% less energy than required for similar illumination from fluorescent lamps.
