Oklahoma City Launches the New Thrive Magazine for Health, Wellness and Fitness

The greater Oklahoma City community can now enjoy a free health and wellness magazine. Readers will benefit from a host of contributing writers who are experts in their field, gather cutting edge information and alternative ideas to common health problems. Broad topics include diet, exercise, fun day trips with the family and historical sites to visit all over this region, a recipe section and shopping guide as well.

The OKC Health and Wellness Group helped to launch Thrive Oklahoma magazine during a Free semi-annual Women’s Health Expo, at the Downtown Edmond Community Center. The event itself drew hundreds of locals out to enjoy free food, free health screenings and a chance to meet with practitioners. Local news anchor, JiaoJiao Shen from KOCO channel 5 performed the Master of Ceremonies duties. This event was designed to help the community learn more about preventable diseases, symptoms, lifestyle choices, food selection, exercise programs and more to make it easy for families to keep their loved ones healthy. Thrive Oklahoma magazine strives to keep these health messages to the citizens of Oklahoma in between the quarterly health expo events.
