Graves, who has represented both attorneys and healthcare professionals, focuses her practice on the defense of professional liability claims. She also is involved in the defense of general liability matters. She has extensive experience representing clients from the pre-suit phase through trial and appeal.
The Dearborn resident comes to Collins Einhorn from a Detroit based law firm where she focused on civil litigation with a special concentration in the defense of medical malpractice matters. In the 2010 issue of Super Lawyers® magazine, she was selected for inclusion among the publication’s “Rising Stars” in Michigan.
Outside the office, Graves is vice president of the Women’s Bar Association (Oakland County Region of the Women’s Lawyers Association of Michigan). She also is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and Michigan Defense Trial Counsel.
Graves earned her juris doctor from Wayne State University Law School in 2002. While in law school, she earned the Boaz Siegel Award for Outstanding Performance in the Fields of Pension, Health and Welfare, Employment or Labor Law. She also was a member of the Wayne State University Law School National Moot Court Team.
