Des Plaines Science & Arts Academy Will Welcome RE/MAX Metro Chicago Real Estate Network's Hot Air Balloon on Nov. 4
The RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon will pay a visit to the Science & Arts Academy in Des Plaines, Ill., on Nov. 4 when the balloon crew will present an interactive educational program developed and sponsored by the RE/MAX metro Chicago real estate network.
Elgin, IL, October 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon will pay a visit to the Science & Arts Academy, 1825 Miner St., in Des Plaines, Ill., on Nov. 4 when the balloon crew will present an interactive educational program developed and sponsored by the RE/MAX metro Chicago real estate network.
The students at the Science & Arts Academy will learn about various aspects of ballooning, including its history and the scientific principles involved, and they will see a demonstration on how the balloon functions. The RE/MAX balloon has visited more than 50 schools this year in northern Illinois.
The program will be presented at 9 a.m. outdoors on the school grounds, weather permitting, but can be moved indoors if required. The balloon envelope will be inflated with hot air to its full 75-foot height if the program is held outdoors. When the program is presented indoors, the envelope is partially inflated with cool air and students have the opportunity to walk inside it.
