For Kid's Sake Early Learning Center to Open Second Location in Dexter

Dexter, MI, October 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Expanding any kind of business in a down economy has its challenges. Most businesses are focused on not losing customers and making payroll--hoping for a coming economic recovery. However, a Pinckney mainstay is bucking that trend and expanding operations to the Dexter market. "For Kids Sake Early Learning Center, LLC" (FKS), is opening a second child care facility in Dexter. Director and owner, Julie Henes-Picano, believes now is the right time to expand her child care and pre-school business into a new market. "For Kid’s Sake-Dexter" is located at 7415 Dexter-Pinckney Road. "FKS-Dexter" (as it will be called) will open for business Monday, November 1st. "We have been serving Pinckney area families for over 5 years now. Most days we have the maximum number of children that we feel comfortable caring for at our Pinckney location. We always operate under the state mandated maximum child-to-teacher ratios,” explained Julie. "So it made sense to expand to a nearby market to see if our 'family approach' to child care will be welcomed in a new community. Our plan is to copy the business model that has worked so well in Pinckney over the years."

For Kid’s Sake invites all community families to its "Grand Opening Trick-or-Treat Open House" that will be held on Saturday, October 30th, from 2pm-6pm. Those attending the open house can enjoy Halloween snacks, refreshments, games, a costume contest, prizes, a bouncy house, and much more.
