David Giwerc is well known for his expertise in serving individuals who struggle with ADD/ADHD. He has been coaching adults with ADHD for over a decade, with a specific focus on entrepreneurs with ADHD, and mentors some of the world’s leading coaches. He is a Master Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation and is founder and president of ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA), the premier comprehensive, long-distance ADD/ADHD coach training program. From 2003 through 2006, he served as president of ADDA (Attention Deficit Disorder Association), the world’s leading adult ADHD organization, where he continues to serve on the executive committee. He was a key partner in the development of the ADDA “Guiding Principles for Coaching Individuals with ADHD” and wrote or directed many ADDA strategic plans.

Giwerc is the leader of the International Coaching Foundation Special Interest Group, a monthly teleconference for ADD coaches designed to provide a platform for ICF coaches to learn more about ADD coaching and share successful strategies. He produced and codirected the well-received ADD coaching video, "Me, My ADD Coach & I." He is a published writer of articles for CHADD and ADDA and has been featured in the New York Times, New York Times Magazine, Fortune, Inc. Magazine, ADDitude Magazine, Attention, and other well-known periodicals. He is a graduate (1978), cum laude, of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Communications, and a graduate of both Coach University (1997) and the Optimal Functioning Institute (1996).
