SourceCode’s K2.net® Solution for Retail Profiled at the National Retail Federation (NRF) Convention

The Retail Task Management solution profiled is based upon solutions currently in place with some of the largest retailers in the world. For demonstration purposes, the solution was profiled as part of a broad vision of retail enablement presented by Microsoft as a vision for what is possible on the Microsoft platform. It was also highlighted during Steve Ballmer’s keynote address as part of the Microsoft Retail People Ready Marketing Initiative (PRMI).

The solution was showcased as integrated Microsoft Office SharePoint Server and InfoPath 2007 and demonstrates how retail operations can be streamlined and managed across locations. Additionally, retailers have the ability to flexibly change and roll-out process driven applications as business needs change. Data can be tracked and analyzed using reporting and alerting available from with K2.net or by leveraging SQL Server 2005 capabilities such as advanced analytics, reporting, and scorecards.
