Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill Introduces Four New Soups to Its Menu

The fast-casual concept highlights healthy vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free soup options at the beginning of fall.

Denver, CO, October 28, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill, a Denver-based fast-casual restaurant concept, announces the addition of four new healthy and authentic soups to its menu. Three of the four soups are vegan friendly, while one features all-natural chicken. All are dairy-free and the majority are gluten-free. Garbanzo provides easy to read signage in-store to help guests identify the right soup for them based on their dietary needs. The soups are available in a cup ($3.59) or a bowl ($4.29), in combination with half a stuffed pita and pita wedges ($6.09), or as a “Souper Meal” with rice and sauces ($5.99).

Following are Garbanzo’s four new soup options:

· Lemon Chicken and Orzo (Dairy-free): Sautéed onion, simmered with all-natural chicken and orzo in fresh chicken stock and finished with lemon juice, fresh mint and Tabasco.
· Spinach and Rice (Dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan): Sautéed onion and garlic, simmered in vegetable stock with tomatoes, rice, spinach and finished with olive oil and fresh lemon.
· Mediterranean Lentil (Dairy-free and vegan): A hearty soup made with a flavorful blend of lentils, carrots, onion, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
· Roasted Eggplant (Dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan): Grilled eggplant, zucchini, summer squash, green peppers and tomatoes.
