PlanetShifter.com Magazine has joined with new partner openmythsource.com to reinvigorate mythology for the 21st century. As academic support for the humanities is being reduced it’s going to take outside groups to step in and fill the gap. The [open myth source] project continues Planetshifter.com Magazine's Mythic Mandate, gathering interviews, symbols, songs, visual art and stories to re-build mythology and the creative imagination that affects cultural change.

The union has released two of three eBooks in a series called: “openmythsource.com - Activating the New Alchemy and Mythologies for the Sustainability Age” out now on Amazon:

“We're exploring the boundaries of mythology and alchemy as they intersect with business, media, communications, the arts and sustainable development. The workshops and publications we are developing fill a growing need for coordination, community and cross-pollination from commercial interests, academic interests, spiritual groups, the arts and active individuals.”

The [open myth source] project gathers conversations, symbols, songs, visual art and stories. Building a house for Myth in the Sustainability Age.
Our mission is to develop a sustainable philosophy, and supporting dialogue, that will aid in the development of cradle to cradle solutions and a positive future for the world.

We build relationships, supporting preexisting and emergent networks in their development through tools, resources, thought leader interviews, essays and conversations.
This is a place to collect, distribute and enjoy the raw materials of Mythology, and for open participation and collaboration in building new mythologies for the 21st century. It’s our hope that a path will be built through communicating and exploring the symbols, stories and memories that we use to understand ourselves, each other and the lives around us.
