Starr Tincup Lures Record Label Professional to B2B Marketing

Dan McCarron moves away from music industry to establish career in B2B marketing.

Fort Worth, TX, January 19, 2007 --( Starr Tincup, an integrated marketing firm for business-to-business software and services companies, announced today that Dan McCarron has joined the firm. Dan is currently focused on client support and will most likely concentrate on account management. He is also the newest member of the Starr Tincup triathlon team that is currently training to complete the Olympic-distance Lavaman Triathlon in Kona, Hawaii, on April 1, 2007, and raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and their Team in Training program.

Prior to joining Starr Tincup, Dan worked for Universal Records in New York where he identified new talent and headed up the market research department. There he worked to discover and launch new artists while keeping the label at the forefront of the music industry. As an artist and repertoire man at Universal, Dan worked with artists as they joined the label and also launched radio and marketing campaigns for those artists.
